Notably, this judgement by the judge came after hearing the testimony of the accused woman and a witness on Friday (January 27). However, following the charges and the series of events, Dani Alves’ legal team has presented an appeal for the player to be released in bail from pre-trial detention, as reported by EFE Deportes.
To talk more about his charges , the 39-year-old has denied all such allegations. “Yes, I was in that place, with more people, enjoying myself. And people who know me know that I love to dance. I was dancing and enjoying myself without invading the space of others,” he said.
It is also being reported that the victim has waived off her entitlement to financial recompense. On Monday, the victim further added that she wants to make sure that justice is done. “Simply wants to make sure that justice is done and the soccer player goes to prison”.
