The ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 group stages have been finished with hosts Team India taking the pole position with their perfect record of nine wins in nine matches in the quadrennial showpiece and will next face the 2019 CWC runners-up, New Zealand in the semi-final on November 15. Football legend David Beckham will reportedly attend the semi-final clash between India and New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Team India will face New Zealand in a rematch of their 2019 CWC semi-final defeat and will look to complete their revenge on the Kiwis. On the other hand, South Africa and Australia will go head-to-head against each other in another semi-final clash in the CWC 2023.
England legend David Beckham is currently on a three-day visit to India as UNICEF's Goodwill Ambassador, which sparked the speculations of him attending the semi-final in Mumbai. If the reports are true, Beckham could be seen watching the match alongside Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar and a host of celebrities including, actors, musicians, and others.
