Former Australian cricketer, David Warner is likely to join Punjab Kings (PBKS) ahead of the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Notably, this move is only possible if the Aussie international is released from the Delhi Capitals (DC). As per several media reports, Warner will move to PBKS with former Australia cricketer and DC Head Coach, Ricky Ponting moving to PBKS.

Seeing this, rumours have started to afloat that Warner might join PBKS, ending his association with the Delhi-based franchise. Former India cricketer, Aakash Chopra had also opined that Ponting will aim to build a team with more Australian cricketers, similar to how he did at DC.
