Star India batter and former captain of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Virat Kohli has been in his prime form off late, scoring most runs for his IPL franchise in the 2024 edition of the tournament. The 35-year-old, who returned to India after last playing in the Afghanistan T20I series in India in January, currently leads the charts as the highest run-getter in IPL 2024.
Moreover, he scored IPL 2024 as well as his maiden ton in match against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. But, Kohli’s century went in vain with the brilliant batting display from Jos Buttler and captain Sanju Samson. Despite his team’s third consecutive loss in the IPL 2024, the Indian batter was seen sharing some priceless moments with his former teammate Yuzvendra Chahal, who now features in RR.
After the match, the Indian spinner also took to social media to hare an emotional post with Kohli. “You will always be my Virat Bhaiya”, Chahal wrote with the picture of the two. However, the post had garnered more than 13 Lakh likes till Tuesday, April 9, a user on X claimed that the Indian leg-spinner earned more than 10 Million followers since then.
Although, the post looks to be edited, the user has shared screenshots of the same, which implies that the Insta followers increased from 9.4 million to 19.4 million. The user, who runs by the username @18Mahiya, captioned the post, “Yuzi Chahal gained 10M + Followers in 2 days after updating his profile pic with Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli is massive”.
However, it is to be seen that Yuzvendra Chahal currently has 9.4 Million followers on Instagram and his profile picture set with wife Dhanashree Verma.
