The Japanese football team created history in the FIFA World Cup 2022 with incredible wins over European giants like Germany and Spain. The Samurai Blue then qualified for the Round of 16, where they once again took the lead against Croatia.
But the 2018 World Cup finalists came back and went on to win the game in the penalty shootout. Japan only managed to score one penalty as Dominik Livaković made incredible saves and took home the win.
After the game, the Japanese coach Hajime Moriyasu performed an incredible gesture which won many hearts. Moriyasu was spotted bowing down to the fans at the stadium as a sign of respect and gratitude for their support throughout the tournament.
