Dinesh Karthik, the former India cricketer, was asked about his views on aliens in an exclusive interview, which led to him revealing a shocking detail around it. The 39-year-old remarked that Virat Kohli, his former India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru teammate, is interested in aliens, and he has shown him a video about extraterrestrial life.

Notably, after Royal Challengers Bengaluru lost the Eliminator of the IPL 2024 against Rajasthan Royals, Dinesh Karthik announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. The Tamil Nadu-born played his final match for RCB in the IPL alongside Virat Kohli, with whom he shares a great friendship.

While speaking with Cricbuzz recently, Dinesh Karthik got a question about his thoughts on extraterrestrial life, to which he shared a surprising story around it. He remarked, “I don't believe in aliens. Actually, I don't have much knowledge in that domain. But I'll tell you who's interested in aliens and who's read up about it, knows a bit about it. You'll be surprised, yes, Virat Kohli.”

“I remember him showing me a YouTube video about aliens spotted in America or some place in Nevada. I forgot the name exactly. It's not something that's top of my list in terms of memory, but I know he was very interested in that subject,” Dinesh Karthik added.

Moreover, following the retirement of Dinesh Karthik from cricket, Royal Challengers Bengaluru roped him in a coaching role in the build-up to the IPL 2025 season. They wrote in a post on X, “Welcome our keeper in every sense, Dinesh Karthik back into RCB in an all-new avatar. DK will be the mentor and batting coach of RCB Men's team! You can take the man out of cricket but not cricket out of the man! Shower him with all the love, 12th Man Army!”
