Manchester City’s star goalkeeper Ederson is reportedly considering exit from the club in the forthcoming summer transfer window. He could move to one of the Saudi Pro League clubs after several teams have shown interest in him. Manchester City defeated Arsenal in the final of the Premier League and clinched their fourth league title. Days after the side won the historic season, the Cityzens faced something completely unexpected.
According to prominent football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ederson is willing to leave the club in the forthcoming transfer window. The reports from Romano also suggested that the Brazilian himself will reveal his final destination, but several Saudi Pro League clubs have shown interest in him. The 30-year-old hasn’t ruled out any destination and is currently considering all the possibilities.
Ederson moved to City in 2017 after leaving Benfica and appeared in 332 games across all competitions for the side. He has won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, a Champions League, a UEFA Super Cup, and a FIFA Club World Cup during his tenure with the side.
Manchester City eyeing Wolves winger Pedro Neto: Reports
Manchester City are reportedly eyeing Wolves player Pedro Neto a year later they signed Matheus Nunes from the team at a massive deal of $67 m. According to The Telegraph, the team has been “long-time admirers” of the Portuguese. The reports also suggested that Wolves would demand a minimum of around $76m from any prospective buyer.
Apart from them, Newcastle United are also interested in the footballer despite his regular injury concerns. The footballer contributed two goals and nine assists during his campaign despite suffering two separate hamstring injuries.
