Ajinkya Rahane fans took to X, formerly Twitter after the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the squad for the South Africa tour. The Indian men’s senior team will tour South Africa for a multi-format series starting December 10. The Indian team will play three T20Is, three ODIs, and two Tests against the Proteas.
Not only this but during the tour, India A will also lock horns with their South African counterparts in two four-day matches and one inter-squad three-day match. While several names have been given a chance in the upcoming series, experienced Test players, including Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara were dropped from the squad.
