Ahead of ICC T20 World Cup 2022, England men's cricket team will be touring to Pakistan for a seven-match T20I series, which will get underway later this month in Karachi. England's selection panel has named 19-member squad for Pakistan T20I series.
Since 2005, this is the first time when England cricket team will be touring Pakistan for a cricket series. ECB has reported that skipper Jos Buttler, who has been recovering from calf injury, is expected to be available for the Pakistan series during the latter stages, while Moeen Ali is set to replace Buttler as the England skipper in his absence.
The England Cricket has also given injury updates on Chris Jordan and Liam Livingstone, who injured their finger and ankle, respectively. Both the players will continue their rehab to get fit for the most-prestigious T20 World Cup, starting from October 16.
Additionally, England will be playing five uncapped players including Middlesex seamer Tom Helm, Surrey batter Will Jacks, Warwickshire pacer Olly Stone, Lancashire seamer Luke Wood, and Kent batter Jordan Cox.
