Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings in match number 11 of IPL 2025 to get their first win of the season after two back-to-back losses. With this, CSK have also suffered second straight loss after getting a winning start to their campaign. For RR, Nitish Rana Rana shone with a knock of 81(36) runs while Wanindu Hasaranga registered the figures of 3/35 to guide their team to the first win of the season.
Batting first, RR posted 182 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs, with Nitish Rana scoring 81 runs along with 37-rin knock by stand-in skipper Riyan Parag. For CSK, Khaleel Ahmed, Noor Ahmad and Matheesha Pathirana scalped two wickets each while Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja scalped a wicket each.

Chasing the winning target, CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad played a captain's knock of 63(44) runs but couldn't take his team down the line. Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni also took the match to the last over but couldn't cross the finishing line as RR finally got a taste of victory in IPL 2025. RR will now face Punjab Kings in their next IPL 2025 clash in New Chandigarh on April 5, while CSK will lock horns with Delhi Capitals at Chepauk on the same day.
