Olympiastadion Berlin

The Olympiastadion is located in Berlin and has a capacity of 74,475. The Olympiapark was built for the 1936 Summer Olympics. It is in the western part of the city and it used to be a horseracing track in the 1800s. Now, there are other sports places at this park too.

The stadium was old and out of date. So they changed it completely so it could be the main place for the FIFA World Cup in 2006. Hertha BSC, a German football club, has called the stadium its home venue since 1963. The stadium has also had important games. For example, it holds the yearly DFB-Pokal final and the 2015 Champions League final.
