Abu Dhabi T10 League is set to return for Season 5 in November 2021. The 10-over tournament will take place from November 19 to December 4. The official announcement was made about the start of the fifth edition of the league.

The Northern Warriors-led by Nicholas Pooran were crowned Champions of Season 4. They defeated Delhi Bulls by eight wickets in the final. The Warriors became the only team to win two titles. They were the winners of the second season in 2018 as well.

The eight teams which took part in the fourth season were: Bangla Tigers led by Andre Fletcher, Deccan Gladiators led by Kieron Pollard, Delhi Bulls led by Dwayne Bravo, Pune Devils led by Nasir Hossain, Maratha Arabians led by Mosaddek Hossain, Qalandars led by Sohail Akhtar, Northern Warriors led by Nicholas Pooran, and Team Abu Dhabi led by Luke Wright.

So far, Northern Warriors have managed to win two titles, Kerala Knights won the first season and Maratha Arabians won the third season.

Abu Dhabi T10 League is the world's only 10-over cricket tournament to be sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The tournament is played in a round-robin format followed by the Eliminators and Finals. A total of eight teams take part in the tournament and play 29 matches including the final fixture. The tournament takes place for 15 days but for the fourth season, it was dropped to 10 days. A single match is played for 90 minutes.

Big stars like Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Eoin Morgan, Kieron Pollard, Mohammad Shahzad, and others will feature for their respective teams in the tournament.
