The Super Giants have named their complete coaching staff for the 2024 season. After reports of former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir leaving the LSG camp ahead of IPL 2024 surfaced days ago, the franchise has put an end to the ongoing rumours as they shared an update of the complete coach staff on social media on Saturday, 9 September.

The World Cup winning player has been named as the ‘Global Mentor’ with Justin Langer joining as the head coach. The seven-member coaching staff was completed after the franchise included S Sriram for the 2024 season. “S Sriram joins to complete our coaching staff for 2024,” LSG captioned the post.
It is to be noted that Vijay Dahiya and Sridharan Sriram have been named the assistant coaches while Morne Morkel will take over as the bowling coach. The spin bowling attack will be coached by Pravin Tambe while Jonty Rhodes has been named the fielding coach.
Talking about Lucknow Super Giants campaign in their second IPL season, the side finished third in the league stage under the leadership of Krunal Pandya after KL Rahul was forced to rule out after an injury scare. The side were later knocked out in the Eliminator after losing to five-time champions Mumbai Indians by 81 runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
