Gill defeats New Zealand by 60 runs: Twitter reacts as India register a massive 168-run win in 3rd T20I against New Zealand to seal series

It was a complete performance from Team India as the side defeated New Zealand by a massive 168 runs. It was one-way traffic after setting up a mammoth total of 234 runs in 20 overs courtesy of a stunning century from Shubman Gill and brisk knocks from Rahul Tripathi (44), Suryakumar Yadav (24), and Hardik Pandya (30). Gill scored an unbeaten 126 from 63 balls as India post their highest T20I score against New Zealand.

While fans were expecting a close contest, the visitors just crumbled in the powerplay as they were reduced to 21/5 inside the powerplay. Skipper Mitchell Santner (13) and Daryl Mitchell (35) were the only batters who managed to reach the double digits as New Zealand got bundled out for just 66. Hardik Pandya was the star with the ball as he picked 4 wickets, while Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik and Shivam Mavi picked 2 wickets each.

India registered the biggest-ever win against a Test-playing nation in T20I cricket.  Twitter was once again vocal as they celebrated India's big win.
