Ahead of the World Test Championship in England, a sneak peek of the new Indian jersey surfaced. After an entertaining Indian Premier League season, Indian cricket fans will be shifting their focus to red-ball cricket as the Men in Blue will dawn the whites as they take on Australia at the Oval in London.


Just over a week after becoming an official kit partner of the Indian cricket team, the players in England were seen wearing their new practice apparel with Adidas after the BCCI signed a mega 5-year deal with the German sports company. Hence on social, there was raised excitement and curiosity around the new jerseys of Team India as Adidas asked fans to DM them about the new possible kits.

Talking about the deal, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah spoke about how this partnership with a global brand like Adidas will allow Indian cricket to have a global reach. Similarly, Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden spoke about how this will deal will help the Three Stripes to play a part in the growth of Indian cricket in the coming years. He said, “We are proud to partner with BCCI and Team India, the most iconic team in India. Cricket is the most important sport in India, and it is very important for us to be visible and invest in it. We could not have found a better partner than BCCI. I believe India to be the fastest-growing sports market for the next decades. We are very committed to supporting our team to become the best sports brand in India.”
