Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has signed up with Delhi Bulls for the sixth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. The 42-year-old will make his maiden appearance in the T10 league. Delhi Bulls made the announcement through a social media post on Thursday. Notably, the team has already signed top players from across the globe to represent them in the sixth edition of the league. 

Harbhajan Singh has had quite an illustrious career. The off-spinner represented India in 267 matches across three formats and scalped as many as 711 wickets. The cricketer also comes with a handful of experience in T20s. Singh has played as many as 268 t20 matches including 163 IPL games. He has scalped 235 wickets in T20s. However, it will be Singh's first experience of playing in a T10 tournament. 

Currently, Harbhajan Singh is a part of the second season of the Legends League Cricket, where he is leading the Manipal Tigers. 

The off-spinner expressed delight after signing with Delhi Bulls and said he is ready for the new challenge. “This is a very interesting and new challenge for the bowler in me and I am delighted to be playing for the Delhi Bulls in the Abu Dhabi T10 this year. It won't be easy for the bowlers, but I hope to make my mark here and help my team win it's first title in the tournament. I have had wonderful interactions with the team owner -- Neelesh Bhatnagar, who's a dear friend and I am impressed by his commitment towards this team for the last 5 years,” said Harbhajan 

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Sports Management of the league said that a player of Harbhajan’s caliber joining the league makes it even bigger. "It's great for the Abu Dhabi T10 that a player like Harbhajan Singh has joined the league for the 6th season. With such a strong pool of world-class players present in the competition, the tournament promises to be one of the biggest events in the international cricket calendar," said Shaji Ul Mulk.
