India all-rounder Hardik Pandya finally resolved the 'whispering' mystery from India's clash against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup 2023 match. The 2023 hosts, who are in sensational form off late, continued their win run to record a seven-wicket victory over Babar Azam and Co. on October 14, Saturday, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

The 14th clash of the ongoing tournament had a series of talking points, and one of them was Pandya's action before he dismissed Imam-ul-Haq. Pandya was seen whispering to the ball just before he picked the Pakistani cricketer's wicket in the match.

This action by the Indian all-rounder grabbed many eyeballs, and in no time, went viral on social media. Later, the 29-year-old came forward to reveal what he said to the ball. He told Star Sports, “I basically hurled abuses at myself to bowl better length.” The Gujarat Giants captain in the IPL picked two wickets in the mouth-watering match by dismissing Imam and Mohammad Nawaz.
The Men in Blue are currently unbeaten in the ongoing season of the ICC event. In their first match, they locked horns with Australia, and later with Afghanistan and Pakistan. After their third triumph, the former world champions grabbed the top spot in standings.
