Defending 50-over World Cup Champions, England, has announced the squad for the ODI World Cup 2023 in India. The Three Lions have dropped a big name like Jason Roy, who seemingly was set to be part of the side. Rather ECB has picked  Harry Brook for the World Cup squad for the World Cup.  England will start their World Cup campaign against New Zealand in a rematch of the last World Cup final on October 5.

Talking about the World Cup squad, England Men's national selector, Luke Wright talked about how the England Cricket Board is confident about winning the tournament in India. Wright said, "We have selected a squad we are confident can go to India and win the World Cup."
