Gareth Bale made some revelations about the Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo’s dressing room behaviour leaving every football follower shocked. Bale and Ronaldo were a part of the Spanish giants Real Madrid, and the two of them, along with Karim Benzema led the team to various victories. The Iconic ‘BBC trio’ played 658 games together and won 427 of them, including four Champions League titles. The former Wales star made an appearance on Martin Borgmeier's YouTube channel at the BMW International Open Pro-Am golf tournament, where he talked about Ronaldo’s dressing room behaviour.
Bale revealed that the Portuguese used to throw his boots in the dressing room angrily if he failed to score in a game, even though the team would have won by a margin of 5-0. The 33-year-old said, "He was actually okay. He had his moments. For example, if we win 5-0 and he didn't score, he comes in and throws his boots like he's angry. It's like your team winning in the Ryder Cup but you didn't get a point, so you are angry. Bale added, “But he was a nice guy, nothing wrong, we didn't really have any problems. A lot of people could be scared of how he is but if you're not then it's fine."

The former Welsh international was asked whether Ronaldo used to thank his teammates after winning the Ballon D’Or awards, to which he replied, “I think he did", before he burst out in laughter. Bale also talked about his tenure at Real Madrid and Tottenham, saying, "I enjoyed Tottenham more because it's more of a family than Real Madrid and everyone is English. But I enjoyed Madrid more in terms of football."
Bale is undoubtedly one of the greatest Welsh players who hung up his boots in January 2023, at the age of 33. He last made his appearance in MLS for LAFC in club football.
