Ahead of tickets going on sale, fans will have the opportunity to register their interest via www.cricketworldcup.com/register from 15 August. This will enable them to receive ticket news first, help secure their spot at the World Cup, and experience the joy of cricket in one day.
To manage the demand for tickets, the ICC has announced phase-wise sales of tickets. The tickets will be released in a phased manner, with different venue tickets going online on different dates. This is a good move considering the booking of IPL tickets led to crashes on the website, which leads to a lot of unhappy fans.
Here are the dates on which the tickets will go live for the respective venues:
25 August – Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
30 August – India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum
31 August – India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune
1 September – India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai
2 September – India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
3 September – India matches at Ahmedabad
15 September-Semifinals and Final

To secure tickets for high-voltage matches and popular venues, you need to plan ahead and book them as soon as possible, as they are likely to sell out quickly. Another thing to note is that e-tickets are not available for the event, and one would have to secure a physical ticket from a booth at the venue.
