The Men in Blue are all set to lock horns with neighbours Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup 2023. While the Men in Blue are making their 11th appearance in the final of the continental tournament, it will be the 13th time for the Sri Lankans. Additionally, while the Indian cricket team have won the final against Sri Lanka four times, they have lost it three times too.

But ahead of this all-important clash against the defending champions, a conversation between the Indian opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill is now doing rounds of the internet. However, the conversation seems to be incomplete, skipper Rohit Sharma can be heard telling Gill that he can’t do it.
“Mere se aise nahi hoga, pagal hai kya (I can’t do it, are you crazy)?” Rohit can be header saying as he walks out of the lift.

Talking about the Asia Cup campaign for both the sides, while India continued to dominate the tournament, but lost their last Super 4s fixture by six runs against Bangladesh. On the other hand, Sri Lanka surpassed a challenge as they made it to the final after a win over Pakistan in a thriller.
The two sides will go head-to-head in the finale on Sunday, 17th September 2023 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo at 3:00 PM IST.
