Matt Hardy has shown interest in returning to WWE in 2025 with Hardy Boyz. Notably, several former wrestlers are making their return Triple H has been named a company’s creative figurehead in 2022 replacing Vince McMohan. Now, Matt Hardy is also keen on returning as WWE is set to sits OTT era with a deal with Netflix in 2025. During his latest podcast on Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the former American wrestler gave positive response when was asked about the reunion of Hardy Boyz.

During the interview, host Jon Alba predicted the return of Hardy Boyz in 2025. Replying to this, Matt Hardy said “Yeah, I feel pretty good about it too” as quoted in Sportskeeda. Notably, Matt and his brother Jeff Hardy were last seen playing in the WWE as a tag team on April 20, 2019. In the event, the duo successfully defended the Smackdown Tag team Championship title against Jimmy and Jey at a non-televised event.

Speaking further, Matt Hardy also expressed his excitement for the debut of WWE on Netflix, one of the most popular OTT platforms in the world. Hardy believes that with Netflix, the WWE could expand out to new markets across the world and will build a bigger fanbase. The former wrestler said that it will be a ‘game changer’ for WWE. 

"With Netflix, I think it is going to change the game for WWE around the world. I think they're going to continue to expand out to different new markets all across the world, they're gonna build bigger fanbases, there's gonna be new people introduced to wrestling every single week on Monday Night RAW because Netflix is everywhere. It is all across the planet, and it is going to be a game-changer for WWE."
