Conor McGregor, one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time from Ireland, has called out the Irish Senator Eileen Flynn in his latest tirade on social media platform X. The 35-year-old, who is hoping to run for the President in Ireland recently, stated that Eileen Flynn wasn’t voted but nominated as a token in the Irish Parliament.

Notably, for someone to stand for a Presidential election in Ireland, they would need the backing of 20 members of the Oireachtas, which is the Irish Parliament, or four local authorities. But after the reports emerged that there was no Independent TD or Senator prepared to back Conor McGregor in his hopes to run for the President in Ireland, he took to his official X account to presumably air out his frustration for everyone to hear.

The multi-time former UFC champion posted an audio clip about the matter while targeting an Irish Senator, who didn’t have many nice things to say to him. He said, “Senator Eileen Flynn has said, she wouldn’t nominate me to wash the dishes, how disrespectful. Senator, I nominate you to brush your teeth and see the dentist because if ever there was a cause to bring back masks, I would call for it. You weren’t even voted in, you were nominated as a token. So I’d appreciate lesser the disrespect.”

Real Ireland, true Ireland are absolutely fed up with it : Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor wasn’t too happy with what had been going on inside the Dail Eireann, which is a part of the Oireachtas, the Irish Parliament. He said, “Inside on Dail Eireann, we have a rabid case of gingivitis and shite talk and zero action, and myself along with the entire nation of real Ireland, true Ireland are absolutely fed up with it.”

The 30-year-old also promised that the change is coming in Ireland in his concluding thoughts which read, “You know, understand there is only about 5 per cent of Ireland on X at present, so understand that. The nation of Ireland, the real nation of Ireland is fed up with you people inside that Dail and change is coming, change is coming for the benefit of Ireland, for the progression of Ireland. We have had enough and it is time that our nation stands up so stay ready.”
