Days after the Cricket World Cup loss against Australia in the final, the Men in Blue will take on the team from Down Under in a five-match T20I series. While Team India will be led by Suryakumar Yadav in the absence of Hardik Pandya, who sustained an ankle injury in CWC match against Bangladesh, Matthew Wade will be leading the Aussies in the five-match T20I series.

With Suryakumar Yadav getting the leadership role for the upcoming series, it will be the Asian Games gold-medal winning captain, who will play the deputy’s role for the first three matches before Shreyas Iyer returns.
