Indian spinner Ravindra Jadeja talked about the Indian spin attack's plan against Australia in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 opener. Playing at the M.A. Chidambaram stadium in Chennai, the Men in Blue registered a hard-fought six-wicket victory to get off to a winning start.

The Indian spinners were one of Team India's biggest contributors to the win and Jadeja was the top performer with a spell of 3-28 in 10 overs. Talking about this performance, Jadeja revealed that all three spinners were thinking about how he could take the most wickets.
While speaking in the post-match media interaction, Jadeja said, "Teeno spinners yehi soch rahe the mujhe jyada wicket mil jaaye." (Translation: All three spinners were thinking about how I could pick up the most wickets.)

Further in his chat with the media, Ravindra Jadeja was asked about Team India's strategy for the coming games in the World Cup. The spin-bowling all-rounder joked about not revealing any secrets as reporters, from all around the world, would write about it in newspapers. Jadeja said, " I will not tell you this otherwise you will write in an Engli sh newspaper and opposition teams will understand."
