As the clock is ticking, the emotions are getting intense. The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 India vs Pakistan clash is now less than 24 hours away and while there is a lot of anticipation for this match, India could be in a bit of trouble from the visual which has now surfaced on the internet.

An image of Hardik Pandya with his right knee strapped from the team's practice is floating around on social media. Although it has ignited speculation on whether the star all-rounder has sustained an injury that could prevent him from taking part in this match, there has not been an official confirmation yet.

Take a look at this post here:

Earlier captain Rohit Sharma had said that he has already informed the players who will play the Pakistan match and he does not believe in making last-minute calls. He added that he would want the boys to be prepared for the high-pressure game.

"I don't believe in last-minute decisions. We want to keep our boys informed about team selection before so that they can prepare early. I already have my XI for the Pakistan match. Already those players are informed. I don't believe in a last-minute thing. I want them to prepare well. We understand the importance of the India vs Pakistan match but there is no point in talking every time," the  Indian skipper had said at a press conference.

However, if Hardik is indeed injured, this could certainly force the team management to rethink the balance of the side in the absence of the all-rounder and include a replacement for him.

IND vs PAK will commence at 01:30 pm (IST) on Sunday, October 23.
