Pakistan finally broke the losing streak against India in the Asia Cup as they defeated the Men in Blue on Sunday (4 September). The Babar Azam-led team beat India by five wickets in a last-over thriller. As is the case with India-Pakistan matches, the winner gets immense love while the losing team’s fans are left distraught and it was Pakistan’s fans to rejoice on the win.
As soon as Pakistan beat India, social media was flooded with posts from pages celebrating the team’s victory. Careem Pakistan also joined the bandwagon to celebrate the team’s win as they posted a meme on their Twitter handle. They shared a scene from the Indian movie Hera Pheri which had the text “ye to kisi ke rone ki awaaz hai.”
Careem Pakistan shared the tweet with the caption “Humney tou order k lye phone kia tha” indicating that there was a sorrowful environment in the country and tagged India’s food-delivering giant Zomato.
They got a reply to this as well and it was definitely a savage one. Zomato trolled the admin by pointing out that they should have used their used their own meme template. “meme template tou apne use karo,” replied Zomato on the tweet.

Another India-Pakistan match on the cards?
While the two teams have a score of 1-1 in their last two meetings, it seems another India-Pakistan match is on the cards. The Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2022 is underway and all four teams have played a game each. While Pakistan and Sri Lanka have opened their accounts with a win each, India and Afghanistan lag behind.
But as India are to play Afghanistan and Sri Lanka, they can still qualify for the final. Pakistan, on the other hand, have also the opportunity to finish in the first two positions and hence qualify for the final. This means another India-Pakistan match is possible which will be the decider.
