Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra has made some bold predictions ahead of the final Test match of the four-match series. While there has been a lot of talks about the pitch after the pink-ball Test in which the hosts registered a dominant 10-wicket win over England, Chopra feels the final Test match at the same venue will last at least four days. The cricketer turned commentator added that the match might even go into the final day but it will be the hosts who will emerge victorious.

Pacers will play their part, batting would be easier: Chopra

Although the final Test is at the same venue where the Indian spinners picked 19 of the 20 England wickets. Even England skipper Joe Root managed his first-ever fifer at the Narendra Modi Stadium in the third Test. Chopra has predicted the Ahmedabad surface for the final Test to have something in for the pacers as well. He said that pacers will play their part in the match and so will the spinners. The former Delhi cricketer also believes that batting will be easier on this track compared to the third Test match.

Rohit, Root to get a hundred, believes the commentator

Chopra predicted that at least 2 Indian batters will get a hundred in this match with one being the in-form opener Rohit Sharma. He did not name Virat Kohli as the second Indian but said that even he could reach that landmark. In addition, the author of "The Insider" predicted England captain Joe Root to get a hundred and conclude the series which he had begun with a superb double-hundred.

India currently lead the Test series 2-1 and need at least a draw or a win in their remaining match to qualify for the ICC World Test Championship final. Meanwhile, if England win the last Test they can spoil India's party as it will imply India are knocked out of the World Test Championship final race.
