The Korean manufacturer of Battleground Mobile India, BGMI, Krafton announced a friendly invitational tournament between Korea and India. The popular esport made its return in the Indian market after being suspended for more than a year. In the tournament, eight teams from India and eight from Korea will participate. A highly anticipated and exhilarating LAN event, the tournament will be played in BGMI and will be hosted in India. 

Speaking of the participating teams, the names of eight Korean teams have been leaked. However, the Indian names will be the top eight teams of the BGIS Grand Finals 2023, which will kick off on October 12, Thursday.  The names of the participating Korean teams are Dplus KIA, DUKSAN Esports, Eagle Owls, emTek StormsX,  MARU Gaming, NS RedForce, ROX and ZZ.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from October 26 to October 28, where at least six matches are likely to be played in a day. Speaking of the BGIS Grand Finals, the final leg of the tournament that is set to take place on October 12, 13 and October 15, will have a total of 16 BGMI teams fighting for a prize pool of INR 2 Crore. 

The summit clash that will take place at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai, will be telecast in eight languages, including six regional languages. The entry to the venue will be free for fans, and they can catch the live action on JioCinema too.
