Before the highly anticipated India versus Pakistan clash at the ODI World Cup 2023, the planned ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is not going to be broadcast live on TV or stream, on Saturday, October 14. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has made the announcement in collaboration with Star Sports, stating that the planned ceremony is for the in-stadia fans only.

The glittering ceremony will have many stars from the Indian film industry making an appearance, namely Ranveer Singh, who has already been a part of the official anthem of the ODI World Cup 2023. The actress Tamannah Bhatia, singers like Arijit Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, and Shankar Mahadevan will also be performing at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, where more than 1,00,000 fans are expected to show up for the latest chapter of the greatest rivalry.

The statement from ICC and Star Sports, the ODI World Cup 2023’s official broadcaster, regarding the pre-match ceremony for the India versus Pakistan contest read, “The ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium before the match 12 of the ICC Men’s CWC 2023 (India v Pakistan) has been planned for in-stadia fans. The ceremony is not for broadcast.”

The tweet from Star Sports also stated that they will keep the fans covered for the rest of the proceedings of the upcoming mega match, including the highlights too. Notably, the Indian cricket team will put their 7-0 streak against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup on the line, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad later today.
