The Indian team made sizeable improvements after the first ODI across all departments. All their bowlers had great performances as only Avesh Khan wasn’t amidst wickets. In the batting department, the top order once again failed to fire despite showing signs of scoring big runs. The trio of Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson clicked and carried the team over the finish line.
Similarly, South Africa had moments of brilliance throughout the match but couldn’t capitalise on these chances.
