Al the 30 NBA teams were in action on the last matchday of the 2022-23 regular season and the battle between Minnesota Timberwolves and New Orleans Pelicans for the eighth seed in the Western Conference was extreme. The Wolves center Rudy Gober and forward Kyle Anderson got into an altercation on the team's bench and the center took a swing at Anderson, which led Draymond Green to hit back at Gobert with his own words.
Earlier in October last year, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green punched teammate Jordan Poole during a team training session and the Wolves center posted a cryptic tweet, seemingly mocking Green. Gobert's tweet read, "Insecurity is always loud."
During the Wolves' final regular season game against the Pelicans, Gobert appeared to punch teammate Kyle Anderson as their teammates had to separate them on the bench. This forced the four-time NBA champion to give Gobert the taste of his own medicine by posting an exact tweet that read, "Insecurity is always loud."

After the game, Gobert issued a public apology to Kyle, his teammates and fans for his behavior and wrote, "Emotions got the best of me today. I should not have reacted the way i did regardless of what was said. I wanna apologize to the fans, the organisation and particularly to Kyle, who is someone that i truly love and respect as a teammate."
The Wolves defeated the Pelicans 113-108 to clinch the eighth spot in the Western Conference standings and will next face LeBron James' Los Angeles Lakers in the play-in competition as the winner between the two sides will face the second-placed Memphis Grizzlies in the playoffs.
