Where talent meets opportunities is the mantra of the Indian Premier League. Several of the Indian as well as overseas stars have acknowledged the role of the tournament in their development as a cricketer. It is a boon for the uncapped Indian stars to play alongside the world's best as well as the nation's pride. Another such opportunity was provided to several youngsters including Riyan Parag in the RR-RCB clash on Thursday.
While it was the Royal Challengers Bangalore who emerged victorious, Parag later had a fanboy moment with the opposition's captain Virat Kohli where he got his bat signed from one of the world's best batsmen. The conclusion of the match also saw RCB superstar AB de Villiers having a conversation with RR's Jos Buttler, scenes which are so characteristic of the biggest T20 tournament in the world and things that make it a fan favourite. Parag, in fact, got his bat autographed from Kohli after the match. The picture of the same was shared by the franchise on its social media.
