Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians by 62 runs in the second qualifier of the IPL 2023, and they will play the final match against CSK in Ahmedabad. Mumbai winning the toss invited Gujarat to bat first, and they posted a humongous total of 233/3 in 20 overs with the help of a masterclass inning from Shubman Gill at the top. Gill scored a massive score of 129 runs in 60 balls, and that knock was well-supported by Sai Sudharsan at the other end.

Mumbai Indians had a brisk start in the run-chase by scoring 72/3 inside six overs despite losing both their openers quickly, as Tilak Varma smashed a quick-fire 43 runs from just 14 balls. Post Tilak Varma's dismissal, Suryakumar Yadav's blistering innings gave some hope to Mumbai fans, but his unfortunate dismissal at the wrong time ended their chances of entering the IPL 2023 finals.
