Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will face Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday afternoon. In the bowling department, Jason Behrendorff and Piyush Chawla picked three wickets each along with the new signing Riley Meredith who picked up two. Bowling is the main issue for Rohit Sharma’s men as they have lost three of their key bowlers due to injury and they don’t have a world-class spinner.
Kolkata, on the other hand, started the season well with wins over GT and RCB. Their spin attack and middle order have been their main strength so far. Rinku Singh and Venkatesh Iyer are in great form and they will be their mainstays if the two-time champions have to beat Mumbai Indians.
