As mentioned earlier, the Sunrisers Hyderabad are still yet to find their best playing XI in IPL 2023. So far they have had some incredible performances but have failed to build on these to rise up on the points table. Their batting has been their biggest concern so far with Mayank Agarwal failing to put up runs. Whereas their bowling has had some decent performances but similarly failed consistently pick up wickets and contain opposition batters in crunch moments.
On the other hand, the Delhi Capitals have finally managed to open their account in the ongoing IPL season. But despite the win, DC saw similar problems which have held them back so far in 2023. Their batting has been Delhi’s biggest problem with no player other than David Warner and Axar Patel managing to score runs. Whereas the bowling had been decent and got a massive boost with the return of veteran pacer Ishant Sharma.
