Indian Premier League 2023 will start next year but the preparation for the new season is in full swing. The mini auction for IPL 2023 will be held on December 23 in Kochi, but franchises are gearing up to submit their retention list on November 15.
IPL franchise Punjab Kings has already shown signs of major overhaul ahead of IPL 2023, as franchise has already appointed Shikhar Dhawan as skipper, and Trevor Bayliss as new head coach.
Punjab franchise has released ex-captain Mayank Agarwal, who was retained for a whopping amount of INR 12 crore ahead of IPL 2022 mega-auction. Odean Smith, Ishan Porel are the other two players who are likely to be released by the franchise.
