The first ever champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rajasthan Royals, have shared their released players list ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. Under the leadership of Sanju Samson, RR had a bitter end to the last season in the IPL, losing most of the matches in the second half to end up in fifth place on the points table, missing out on a playoff spot after a very promising start.
Rajasthan Royals will have their ₹3.35 crore purse from the IPL auction last season, bolstered by ₹5 crore as per the new ruling of the IPL governing council for all the teams. Now, with the amount added to the purse from releasing players from the last season, RR will have a lot of money to bolster their squad for the IPL 2024 season during the upcoming auction.
