CSK IPL 2025 Schedule: CSK to take on rivals MI in their season opener; to play them again on April 20

The five-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be coming with a hope to get their hands on the title for the sixth time in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025. Failing to reach the playoffs in the last edition, CSK now have a mission for IPL 2025 and will begin their campaign with a blockbuster opening game against the arch-rivals and another five-time winners Mumbai Indians. The match will be played at M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 23. 

It will be the 18th edition of the IPL, where 10 teams from different cities will lock horns to get their hands on the title on May 25. Total 74 matches will be played throughout the season including 70 matches in the league stages. The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs stage of the tournament. The first qualifier and the Eliminator will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on May 20 and 21 respectively, while the second qualifier is scheduled to be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on May 23 followed by the final at the same ground on May 25.

CSK are set to begin their IPL 2025 campaign with a match against arch-rivals Mumbai Indians in the third match of the season at M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 23. After two back-to-back matches in Chennai, CSK will play their first away match of the season against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on March 30. They will end their league campaign with a match against Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 18.
