On Monday, November 25, following the conclusion of the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have completed their squad for the upcoming season of the league. The biggest signing from LSG in the auction was Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant, for whom they shelled out INR 27 Crore, the highest sum of money for any player in the history of the tournament.
It is highly expected that Rishabh Pant captains Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL for a foreseeable future after being a leader in his previous franchise Delhi Capitals. He will be playing alongside some of the top quality players from world over, including the likes of Nicholas Pooran, Ravi Bishnoi, David Miller, Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, and Avesh Khan, among others.
