India defeated Ireland by 33 runs in the 2nd T20I and also went onto win the three match T20I series by 2-0 margin with one more match to be played in Dublin on Wednesday (23rd August). Earlier in the game, Ireland invited India to bat first after winning the toss and posted a huge total of 185/5 in 20 overs with the help of 71-run partnership between Gaikwad and Samson, along with Rinku Singh's quick-fire knock off 38 runs in 21 balls.
Among Ireland batters only Andrew Balbirnie fought single handedly by scoring 72 runs off 51 balls at the top, while rest of them failed to score runs with the bat, which ended being the major cause for the loss of Ireland. Mark Adair's heroics at the end didn't prove valuable for his side as the game already went out of their hand and notably, skipper Bumrah once again impressed everyone with his terrific bowling, finishing with figures of 2/15 in 4 overs.
