In an exclusive interview, Jake Paul, the YouTube-turned boxer, made a startling claim that Cristiano Ronaldo won’t be able to catch MrBeast’s YouTube subscriber numbers. After launching his YouTube channel on August 21, Cristiano Ronaldo became the fastest to 10 million subscribers within 12 hours, surpassing MrBeast’s record, but still, Jake Paul doesn’t see the Portuguese footballer get past him.
Notably, it took MrBeast 132 days to secure 10 million subscribers on YouTube, which is a far cry to how much time Cristiano Ronaldo took to achieve the same milestone. Also, the Al-Nassr star, who has 636 million followers on Instagram, had earned one million subscribers on YouTube within 90 minutes.
Since then, fans have been wondering when and if Cristiano Ronaldo will be able to get past MrBeast, who has more than 312 million subscribers on YouTube, the highest number in the history of the platform. Jake Paul weighed-in with his take on the matter in an exclusive interview with TMZ Sports, stating that he just doesn’t see it happening.
At the same time, Paul praised Ronaldo for his YouTube numbers, reaching 20 million subscribers within 24 hours, and said, “Kudos to him,” before adding, “Hopefully he drops some awesome videos and I think it's dope that he's on the platform.”
Moreover, the YouTube subscriber numbers of Cristiano Ronaldo’s channel, named “UR,” keeps on increasing as we speak. He is currently up to 43.4 million subscribers on the platform with 13 videos posted in total as of this writing.
