Thursday's club friendly between Inter Milan and Al Nassr ended with a heartfelt embrace between Juan Cuadrado and Cristiano Ronaldo. At the Nagai Stadium in Osaka, Japan, the old Juventus colleagues came together for a match that resulted in a 1-1 draw between the two teams. For their respective clubs, Davide Frattesi and Abdulrahman Ghareeb scored goals.

The Colombian winger also expressed his joy and gratitude for joining Inter Milan in an interaction with the club’s website. He said: "I’m delighted and would like to thank God for this opportunity. For me, it’s an honour to be here at one of the biggest teams in Europe. I’m happy.

Cuadrado, who joined Inter Milan on a free transfer this summer after eight years at Juventus, posted a photo of him and Ronaldo on his Instagram account with the caption: “Primeros minutos con @inter buenas sensaciones seguimos preparándonos para estar al 100 🙏🏾💪🏾 Que alegria verte panita el bicho @cristiano bendiciones” (First minutes with @inter good feelings we continue to prepare to be at 100 🙏🏾💪🏾 What a joy to see you buddy the beast @cristiano blessings).

Some Inter Milan supporters were upset over Cuadrado's prior connection to Juventus and objected to his move to the club. The 35-year-old claimed, however, that he went with Inter because of their heritage and reputation as well as the fact that Italy serves as a second home for him and his family.

Cuadrado won multiple trophies while playing for Juventus, including four Coppa Italia crowns and five Serie A championships. In addition to Chelsea in England, he also played for Udinese, Lecce, and Fiorentina in Italy. He has 115 appearances and ten goals for Colombia.

In contrast, Ronaldo unexpectedly left Juventus to sign with Al Nassr last year, making him the highest-paid athlete in the world. With 14 goals in 19 games, the Portuguese superstar helped the Saudi Arabian team place second in the Saudi Professional League. He has now scored 123 goals in 200 appearances for Portugal, breaking the previous record.
