Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has withdrawn from England's camp at St. James Park in Newcastle ahead of the international break. Bellingham returned to Madrid as he is nursing shoulder problems and hence will miss the coming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.

Like Bellingham, England and Chelsea defender Levi Colvill will also return to London after suffering a similar issue in the shoulder region. Bellingham and Colwill join Brighton & Hove Albion's Lewis Dunk, Tottenham Hotspur's James Maddison, and Newcastle United's Callum Wilson are out of the England squad with injuries.
Further talking about the England squad for the Euro 2024 qualifiers, Manchester United's Marcus Rashford and Kalvin Phillips of Manchester City will join the squad later this week, citing personal matters. Whereas the likes of Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa), Cole Palmer (Chelsea) and Rico Lewis (Manchester City) have received maiden call-ups to the England senior squad.

Talking about Bellingham's injury, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti spoke about how the English midfielder can't play over the international break with his condition. “He will go to be evaluated but I expect him back [in Spain] again quickly,” Ancelotti said after the 5-1 win over Valencia.
“If he didn’t play today, he can’t play with England. He has to do specific work to strengthen his shoulder and he will do that in the coming weeks. After the international break, I think he will be able to play again,” Ancelotti added.
