Australia skipper Pat Cummins came up with a straightforward answer after the anchor revealed the kind of fan following he enjoys among Indian women. Notably, Cummins has etched his name in the list of most successful Australian captains. His side recently won the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 as the Baggy Greens defeated India 3-1. Cummins played a key role and put in all-round contributions to make sure that the Kangaroos ended up on the winning side of the table. With the win, they made their way to the WTC Final 2025, set to play at Lord’s in June.

During the series, Cummins encountered an interesting question, which left the Aussie captain stumped. The anchor, Sahiba Bali, told Cummins that he has a huge fan following among female Indian fans, and asked him how he caters to female attention. Cummins said, "There's a huge fan following of you in India, particularly women. There is this huge, huge set of women who have crushes on you, me included. My best friend included. My best friend included. She messaged me, 'Oh you are meeting Pat Cummins. I am so jealous of you. Of course, everyone knows you are married, but how do you cater to female attention?”

I just do…Pat Cummins comes up with hilarious answer to surprising revelation

The 31-year-old cricketer came up with a hilarious answer to the surprising revelation. He said, "I don't even know how you came up with that one, I just do my thing.” He was again asked, “Do you even acknowledge it?" He replied, "Obviously, in India, there are fans. They are crazy. You spend most of the time with the team, in the hotel, a lot of the time family is there. So, you don't get too much of the one on one interaction.”

Notably, Cummins was at his best during the Border Gavaskar Trophy, where he delivered outstanding performance with both ball and bat. He led the side to a 3-1 victory along with securing a spot for the side in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 Final. In the series, Cummins picked 17 wickets in three Tests and played knocks of 49 and 41 in Melbourne Test.
