Krafton India Esports reveals BGIS 2025
Krafton India Esports revealed the BGIS 2025 through a teaser on YouTube titled “WE ARE COOKING | Coming Soon” on 15 December 2024. The 28-second announcement video features the shadow image of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series. However, Krafton has not revealed the exact name of the tournament directly.
The video created excitement among the fans for the first official tournament after the BMPS 2024, which was played in Kochi, Kerala, in September. The BGIS 2025 is the biggest stage for underdogs, as this is an open-for-all tournament where you can register with your four-player squad and compete with the best teams in India.
The publisher is set reveal more details about the tournament soon, including the date, format, registrations, and more. Until then, players can build their squad and grind to qualify for the tournament.
About BGIS 2024
The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGIS) 2024, held at the Hitex Exhibition Center, Hyderabad, was won by Team XSpark. The tournament featured some exciting matches with the top team from India competing for the prize pool of INR 2 Crore.
Team XSpark emerged as the winner, and Global Esports became the runners-up. The young lineup of Reckoning Esports clinched the third spot. NinjaBoi of Global Esports is named the MVP of the BGIS 2024.
