Gaming giant KRAFTON revealed a collaboration with Korean developer Nivanana and announced a project that has been tentatively named ZETA. The venture is a hero-based competitive shooting and would aim at defining the genre while drawing inspiration from titles like Overwatch and VALORANT. The project is scheduled to be released in 2025 on PC as well as consoles and would add to the transformative addition to the gaming landscape.
The forthcoming project has been built with a diverged vision from that of League of Legends (LOL), for a third-person and multi-team character skill fight with a focus on free perspective. The game will introduce the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) that will ensure a breathtaking and immersive experience for the players.
Apart from that, the game would have joypad-based controls that would promote cross-platform compatibility between consoles and PC. It highlights KRAFTON’s assurance of easily accessible and appealing gameplay. The game enthusiasts can expect a dynamic fusion of MOBA and RTS elements in ZETA. It has challenged traditional norms with its third-person perspective, controller-friendly design as well as the technological power of UE5.
Codename ZETA is expected to be in the markets by 2025 and is anticipated as a game-changer amongst competitive shooters. Since KRAFTON now aims to steer away from mass production norms, it promises a refreshing approach to game development.
