NBA legend L eBron James’ son and USC Trojans’ guard Bronny James is all set to participate in the new season of the NBA following the repair of his congenital heart defect owing to a cardiac arrest nine months ago, according to the reports by ESPN.
The clearance was issued by the NBA’s Fitness to Play Panel and the panel included three physicians who evaluated and approved James, thus, granting him allowance to take part in this week’s pre-draft combine which is considered to be an important step to define his viability for the upcoming season to the team executives.

James, who had endured a disappointing USC freshman season, is expected to take part in the combine’s 5-on-5 scrimmages beginning Tuesday. After being sidelined for several months owing to a severe heart issue that occurred nine months ago, the 19-year-old had a humbled season for Trojans freshman where he averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 19.4 minutes per game.
