The Legends League Cricket (LLC), featuring retired international cricket players is back with another promising and entertaining season. The 2023 season of the tournament will take place across five cities across the country from November 18 to December 9, 2023. The season opener of the competition will be played in Ranchi. Apart from the capital city of Jharkhand, Dehradun, Vizag, Jammu, and Surat will host different fixtures.

The first match of the forthcoming edition will have India Capitals locking horns with Bhilwara Kings in the 2022 final rematch. In 2022, India Capitals took down their rivals by a margin of 104 runs to secure the championship. The league partnered with Paytm and Paytm Insider as their exclusive ticketing partner. 

The tournament will have cricket legends locking horns in a round-robin format across 19 matches, ranging for 22 days. The LLC announced its schedule for the forthcoming season, and as per that, action will shift to Dehradun after Ranchi. 

The tournament will have a total of six teams will fight for the coveted title. The list of participating teams includes India Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Bhilwara Kings, Manipal Tigers, Southern Super Stars, and Urbanisers Hyderabad. While former India bowler Irfan Pathan is set to lead 2022 finalists Bhilwara Kings, Gujarat Giants will have Parthiv Patel as their leader. 

Apart from them, Harbhajan Singh, Aaron Finch, and Suresh Raina will lead Manipal Tigers, Southern Super Stars, and Urbanisers Hyderabad, respectively. The Co-Founder & CEO of Legends League Cricket, Raman Raheja said, “Legends League Cricket last season was a huge success, and we are ready to entertain the fans in the upcoming season. With the games being played at Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu, Vizag, and Surat, we are not just hosting a tournament; we are spreading the love for the game far and wide in the country.”
