The second edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC), a Twenty20 cricket league featuring retired cricket players, will be held in India from November 18 to December 9, the organizers announced.  After a milestone inaugural season in Doha, it had a massive reach of 1.48 billion globally. The inaugural edition of the tournament saw participation from the India Capitals, Manipal Tigers, Gujarat Giants, and Bhilwara Kings, with the India Capitals being crowned champions after defeating the Bhilwara Kings by a massive margin of 104 runs.

The organizers plan to take the forthcoming season of the tournament to newer venues in India. Suresh Raina, Gautam Gambhir, Shane Watson, Ross Taylor, and Mitchell Johnson were among the renowned cricketers who featured in the first edition of LLC. More legends from the game are expected to join as per the tournament commissioner Ravi Shastri. 

“After a successful last season, we're thrilled to announce our return with a whirlwind of cricket action from 18th Nov. to 9th Dec!” The league announced on Twitter.



Ravi Shastri, commissioner of LLC, said: We're ready for the challenge; world-class competitive cricket is a perpetual delight. With the addition of more legendary players, the on-field excitement is bound to escalate.” All the matches of the LLC 2022 are expected to be live telecasted on Star Sports Network, with live streaming available on Disney+ Hotstar.
